&TEAM at Belluna Dome, Day 1: a K-pop dome show on a lucky, clear night
I've been going to concerts in Japan and around Asia for years, so when &TEAM announced their first-ever solo dome shows, I went both nights. This is Day 1 — the lucky one, when the weather was kind. (Day 2 was a different, wetter story; I've written that up separately.) The venue was Belluna Dome, the one big room Tokyo fans quietly brace for, and on a clear evening it was about as good as a dome gets.
&TEAM's BLAZE THE WAY ENCORE played Belluna Dome (Tokorozawa, Saitama) on Sept 5–6, 2026 — their first solo dome, tied to their anniversary with fans (LUNÈ). Get there via Seibu-Kyūjō-mae Station (right at the gate; ~35 min from Ikebukuro on the Laview). The venue has a roof but open sides, so weather makes or breaks it — and Day 1 was clear. Getting there on the Laview
Belluna Dome is out in Tokorozawa, Saitama — it's the home of the Seibu Lions baseball team, not central Tokyo. The painless way in is the Laview limited express from Ikebukuro, which takes about 35 minutes and drops you at Seibu-Kyūjō-mae Station, right at the gate with no stairs. The Laview's big yellow seats and huge windows make the trip feel like part of the event — and yes, half the carriage was fans with their plushies already out.
The venue Tokyo fans brace for
Belluna Dome has a roof but no walls — the canopy floats over the stands with the sides left open, so it's really an outdoor stadium under a lid. That means weather gets in: wind, humidity, and on a bad day rain along the edges. In summer regulars call it the "sauna dome." But on a cool, dry evening like Day 1, that open structure is the best thing about the place — air moving through, the sky changing colour, sometimes a proper sunset while the crowd fills in.
Eat before you go in
I treat a dome show as a whole evening, and that starts with food. We had a proper pre-show meal first — including a soy-meat karaage that was better than it had any right to be — and grabbed more inside; the venue even has Baskin-Robbins if you want ice cream while the room fills. And of course the whole table came with company: our LUNÈ plushies got their own seats.
The show
This wasn't just any date — it was &TEAM's first solo dome, the BLAZE THE WAY ENCORE capping a big Asia tour, landing right on their anniversary weekend with fans, so the room carried the weight of a milestone. From the stands you could see the full scale: a wide main stage, a long thrust and runway pushing into the floor, and a crowd filling the open bowl. I'll leave the setlist for you to discover, but the atmosphere was as good as I've felt at a dome.
The merch spiral (a loving warning)
A quick word for anyone new to this fandom's economy. Those blue plushies are modelled on the character from &TEAM's song Jūgoya, and fans adore them — so naturally, a brand-new plush design was just announced, along with a new penlight. I love it and I will absolutely be buying, but let's be honest about the direction of travel here: between plush after plush and a fresh penlight, one does start to wonder, with genuine fondness and mild terror, exactly how much they're going to gently relieve us of. Budget accordingly. You have been warned by someone who never listens to this warning.
Is the premium seat worth it?
I went with a premium (upgrade) seat, which at a Japanese dome show now runs about ¥10,000 over a standard ticket — so roughly ¥27,000 against a standard ~¥17,000. In a venue this size the better sightline genuinely helps, and for a group I love on a milestone night, I think it's worth it; a standard seat still gets you the whole atmosphere. Because the sides are open, dress for the actual weather, not for "indoors" — a light layer for the evening, and rain cover if the forecast wobbles. Day 1 rewarded us; Day 2 did not, which is a story for the other article.
